EXCEPTIONS/ NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS Per the FDA, certain types of items cannot be returned or exchanged, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) and personal care goods (such as beauty products) including hair extensions.

We do have a 30-day exchange policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request an exchange or exchange in person at our location. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

A 15% restocking fee may apply. 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@westiviehairco.com. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted.

WEST IVIE HAIR CO. is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, shipping costs or shipping insurance on any returns, exchanged purchases. You can always contact us for any questions at info@westiviehairco.com. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to any returns.

DAMAGES & ISSUES Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we will evaluate the issue and make it right.

WEST IVIE HAIR CO. is not responsible and will not replace hair for any discoloration that may happen due to water activities or sunscreen use. We are also not responsible for and will not replace any hair that has been altered due to chemical treating, hair coloring, toning or improper care. We are not responsible for damage caused due to improper homecare, heat, saltwater, chlorine, or any water activities.

On rare occasions we do approve refunds. Once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original form of payment method. Please remember it can take 7-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process/post a refund.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on any discounted, clearance/sale items or gift cards. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

HOW IS OUR HAIR SOLD? Uniquely, we sell our hair as individual wefts or small bundles so you can mix and match manufactured types to match proper density without over stocking. Our clip-ins were formulated to have the lux density of an average head of hair (160g).

WHAT IS THE HAIR TEXTURE? Our hair is a natural texture blend- which means it can be worn straight, wavy, scrunched for curls or even custom textured (permed) by a licensed stylist.
